Join Great Neck poet Wendy Wisner for a book signing and poetry reading to celebrate the launch of her new and third book, The New Life.
Wendy Wisner has a MFA in Poetry from Hunter College, where she taught writing and literature for four years. Her poems have appeared widely in literary magazines, including Prairie Schooner, Spoon River Review, Passages North, Tar River Poetry, Nashville Review, and Minnesota Review. She's also the author of two books of poems, Epicenter and Morph and Bloom. Cornerstone Press, part of the University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point, will be publishing her third book of poems, The New Life, in Fall of 2024.
Wendy is also a journalist focusing on general health and wellness, women’s health, infant/child health, mental health, and parenting, as well as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
