English Conversation & Learning Classes with Long Island Educational Opportunity Center In-Person
Registration is held in person at the Main Library Circulation Desk from August 1-September 8, or until the class is filled. Class size is limited. Please be ready to provide proof of New York State residency when you sign up.
Classes are held on Fridays starting September 12 through December 19, and are skill level inclusive.
This program is designed to empower non-native English speakers with the language proficiency and practical communication skills needed for success in the workplace. Students will enhance their English language abilities in professional contexts, enabling them to pursue vocational and career opportunities confidently. Upon completing the program, graduates should have the language skills and confidence to pursue vocational and career opportunities in English-speaking environments, contributing to personal and professional growth.
