Family & Friends CPR: Adult CPR with AED Demonstration In-Person
Registration for Great Neck cardholders and residents begins April 29 at 10 AM, online, in-person, or via phone.
Signing up for this class also includes the Child/Infant CPR class on June 16th at 6:30-8:30 PM. Non-residents are welcome as walk-ins, as space allows.
This is a hands-on practical skills practice course. The course will include review of prudent heart living, risk factors, and the student’s role in the chain of survival. We will also review the warning signs of a heart attack, stroke, choking, and how to access the emergency medical service system (EMS). Wear comfortable clothes, as all practice exercises will be done on the floor.
Please note that this is a non-certification course.
Instructors with the American Heart Association, Bonnie and Stephen Karejwa have worked in pre-hospital patient care for over 50 years combined as an EMT and a Paramedic.
