Nature, Anxiety & Healing, presented by Adrienne Bernstein, MS In-Person
Emerging from India 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda is considered the sister science to Yoga and is the world’s oldest model of natural health care. Its emphasis is on life-enhancement and preventative-care and encourages the maintenance of physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health though adjustments in lifestyle. Learn how ancient yogic wisdom can help combat modern day stress, using practices such as green time, tree hugging, seasonal eating, ecotherapy, forest bathing, circadian rhythms, sleep hygiene, mindful meditation, energy clearing breathing, and more.
Adrienne is a Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor through the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor, and director Holistic Living Resources, LLC.
Registration for Great Neck cardholders and residents begins August 28 at 10:00 AM, online, in-person, or via phone. Non-residents are welcome as walk-ins, as space allows.
