Preventing Drug Abuse: Overdose Prevention Seminar presented by Town of North Hempstead In-Person
North Hempstead Town Supervisor Jennifer DeSena and Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly invite you to attend a special series of free educational seminars titled “Not My Child: What Every Parent Needs to Know.”
This 1-hour seminar is designed to educate parents and guardians on the signs of substance use and strategies to help prevent drug addiction and overdoses in our communities.
- Learn the warning signs of drug use and addiction
- Identify and understand substances such as fentanyl, heroin, and counterfeit pills
- Straight talk about drug usage in our communities
- Get tips and tools for speaking with your children and seeking help
