Celebration of Global Human Rights Day: a workshop with Ron Gross In-Person
This workshop will celebrate the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, spear-headed by Eleanor Roosevelt in the aftermath of WWII and now the most widely translated document in the world. Human Rights Day is celebrated annually around the world on December 10th every year. The date was chosen to honor the United Nations General Assembly's adoption and proclamation, on 10 December 1948, of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
After viewing an inspiring short video, you will be invited to discuss in small groups, those rights you consider most important for our situation today -- as well as any reservations you have about this approach to humanitarianism.
The more you know about your Rights, the better you can protect and benefit from them, for yourself and your fellow humans throughout the world. To learn more, visit humanrights.com
