Community Mental Health Promotion and Support (COMHPS) Info Table with the Hispanic Counseling Center In-Person
COMHPS is a program provided by the NYS Office of Mental Health that aims to support New Yorkers with subclinical mental health needs. The team from the Hispanic Counseling Center will be at the Main Library's Lower Lobby for resources on community engagement, mental health wellness promotion, and where to get individual screenings for mental health conditions, brief counseling, and referrals to licensed mental health professionals.
Since its inception in 1977, the Hispanic Counseling Center (HCC) has been driven by a deep commitment to support individuals and families within the Long Island community. Learn more about them at hispaniccounseling.org
