Family & Friends CPR: Child/Infant CPR In-Person
Registration for Great Neck cardholders and residents begins April 29 at 10 AM, online, in-person, or via phone.
Signing up for this class also includes the Adult CPR with AED Demo on June 9th at 5:30-8:30 PM. Non-residents are welcome as walk-ins, as space allows.
This is a hands-on practical skills practice course. The course will include a review of the student’s role in the chain of survival. Learn how to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), prevent the most common serious injuries, and choking. You will also learn how to access the emergency medical service system (EMS). Wear comfortable clothes, as all practice exercises will be done on the floor.
Please note that this is a non-certification course.
Instructors with the American Heart Association, Bonnie and Stephen Karejwa have worked in pre-hospital patient care for over 50 years combined as an EMT and a Paramedic.
